When Jim began his solo practice as James E. Betz, P.A. in 2001, he was standing on 21 years of practical experience, client connections, and zealous advocacy. Now, over 20 years later, Jim has begun a new venture with Betz & Port, P.A. in order to continue fighting for his clients.
A long-time Minnesota resident, Jim is recognized across the state as a leader in personal injury law. Undeterred by the stonewalling tactics of big insurance companies, Jim hangs tough with his clients and has consistently obtained six-figure verdicts and arbitration awards. He loves standing up for the little guy and navigating the confusing mess left after a serious crash.
When not working, Jim enjoys spending time with his blended family. He and his wife have three adult children and six grandchildren. Jim also enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing and especially winter camping. If not working from the office, he’s probably working from his camper in a beautiful national forest.
